PIXELCHAIR

PIXELCHAIR is a design based on the classic wingback

chair. I kept the wooden base of the chair but replaced

the rest with a pixelated version build out of

foam cubes.

Everyone remembers the little green toy soldiers witch most of us used to play with. Build huge fortresses, let the grey ones battle the green ones. well i always favored the greens so i enlarged them and gave them a simple function.

Labyrinth

I based this bookshelf on the labyrinth game i used to play when i grew up. it was quiet a challenge back in the days. not much else to say about this.

My Appartment...

meubel ---- schoolproject

Ontwerp van een meubel voor een bibliotheek. het geeft mogelijkheid to zitten en presenteren van boeken/kranten etc.

Guitarshop (the string) ---- Schoolproject

This was a schoolproject, we had to design a guitarshop. i decided to present a summorised walk through the life of great guitarplayers. so when we enter the shop there's a seating area (where one can test out the guitars if needed), this represents the dressing room for the stars where they relax before the show. Then we have the back left side of the store where golden arms reach out of the walls holding guitars. (this represents the way the stars get waited on, the guitars are held out by golden arms) then we get to the "stage" area. in front of the longest wall there's another wooden wall with figures cut out (slash, eric clapton, led zepelin and other guitar hero's) the place where the fuigures hold the guitars is filled with actual guitars. the smaller side  is covered with a same wooden wall except "the audiance" is cut out here.

this way i want the young muscisians to experiance the whole rush to stardom allready when they're even about to start.
