Shell

Shell is a desk i designed to solve the problem

of my "creative mess". i'm someone who likes

to have a messy desk but unfortunately my

girlfriend doesn't apreciate it. this gives the

sollution for both.

Puzzled

Puzzled is a cofffee table with the roots in (again)

on old puzzle game. I just took a nice relaxing

picture as example. In theory it could be anything

you desire.

PIXELCHAIR

PIXELCHAIR is a design based on the classic wingback

chair. I kept the wooden base of the chair but replaced

the rest with a pixelated version build out of

foam cubes.

Everyone remembers the little green toy soldiers witch most of us used to play with. Build huge fortresses, let the grey ones battle the green ones. well i always favored the greens so i enlarged them and gave them a simple function.

Labyrinth

I based this bookshelf on the labyrinth game i used to play when i grew up. it was quiet a challenge back in the days. not much else to say about this.

My Appartment...

meubel ---- schoolproject

Ontwerp van een meubel voor een bibliotheek. het geeft mogelijkheid to zitten en presenteren van boeken/kranten etc.

Guitarshop (the string) ---- Schoolproject

This was a schoolproject, we had to design a guitarshop. i decided to present a summorised walk through the life of great guitarplayers. so when we enter the shop there's a seating area (where one can test out the guitars if needed), this represents the dressing room for the stars where they relax before the show. Then we have the back left side of the store where golden arms reach out of the walls holding guitars. (this represents the way the stars get waited on, the guitars are held out by golden arms) then we get to the "stage" area. in front of the longest wall there's another wooden wall with figures cut out (slash, eric clapton, led zepelin and other guitar hero's) the place where the fuigures hold the guitars is filled with actual guitars. the smaller side  is covered with a same wooden wall except "the audiance" is cut out here.

this way i want the young muscisians to experiance the whole rush to stardom allready when they're even about to start.

This is a set of a dinner plate and an appetiser plate. the appetiser plate looks like a regular plate except for the sides of the plate, these are slant.

often the appetiser is a very small meal and the plate is still clean so instead of washing it we try to be ecologic and put the larger circular plate around it so we create a larger dinner plate.

Just a tryout for a custom gundam. 

Testing out sketchup, vectorworks, artlantis and photoshop.

Mémoire

This ring consists out of 2 elements, 1 sollid wood element (the largest part of the ring) and the replaceable smaller part (porcelain with zircon, diamond, crystal......)

instructions

1. you meet a girl

2. you start dating her

3. you fall madly in love with her

4. after a a few months (or year(s)) you decide to show your love by giving her a ring. 

now the thing is, this ring you give her expresses your emotions so it's kinda priceless, but over the years well she might want some change on her finger, or you start making lots of money and want to buy her a bigger ring, you get married/engaged, live together and so on. with this ring you can keep the solid wooden part ( wood because it ages so you can feel the years) and replace the smaller part with another one.
